I live at 15 Delta Point, Delta Street, Bethnal Green, London E2 7BF,
and here's how to get here:
By tube:
Take the Central Line to Bethnal Green (zone 2, one stop past Liverpool
Street station). Take the "Bethnal Green Road" exit, which is the one straight ahead and to the right as you exit the
turnstiles. Don't cross any roads! Put the church to your back, and the pub to your left, and walk straight on
down Bethnal Green Road. Cross the road at some stage and, after about 10 minutes, turn right into Barnet Grove.
After a couple of minutes, turn left into Gosset Street and then, almost immediately, right into Delta Street.
Delta Point is on the corner, on your right.
By bus:
The best buses to take are the 8 or the 388.
From the west:
Get off at Barnet Grove stop, which is five stops past Liverpool Street
station. Barnet Grove is just ahead of you on the same side, turn left into it. After a couple of minutes, turn
left into Gosset Street and then, almost immediately, right into Delta Street. Delta Point is on the corner, on
your right.
From the east:
As above. Barnet Grove is two stops past Bethnal Green station.
Buses 26, 48 and 55 are good too.
From the west:
Get off at the Columbia Road stop, which is four stops past Liverpool Street
and just after the bus turns right off Shoreditch High Street into Hackney Road. (The stop on the other side of the
road is confusingly called Austin Street.) Columbia Road is to your right, walk down here for about four minutes, until
you get to a small roundabout. Here veer to the right, into Wellington Row. Delta Street is a minute away
on your right, and Delta Point is on the left-hand side.
From the east:
Get off at Queensbridge Road stop, which is four stops past Cambridge Heath
Station. Turn left into Ravenscroft Road, which is just ahead of you on the same side. At the end of
Ravenscroft Road, turn left into Wellington Row, then right into Delta Street. Delta Point is on your left. This
walk will take about five minutes.
Bus 242 and 149 (from London Bridge) are not bad either:
From the west:
Get off at the Hackney Road stop (four or five stops after Liverpool Street).
Walk down Hackney Road to Columbia Road on your right. Walk down here for about four minutes, until you get to a
small roundabout. Here veer to the right, into Wellington Row. Delta Street is a minute away on your right, and
Delta Point is on the left-hand side.
By night bus:
N8, N26, N55, 242, 149

N35 (from Tottenham Court Road, London Bridge, Clapham Common.
Note this bus does a funny loop-de-loop, make sure you get on the one going in the right direction.)
Get off at Shoreditch/Great Eastern Street stop, which is two stops past
Liverpool Street station. You are now at the corner of Bethnal Green Road. Walk down Bethnal Green Road for
about 15 minutes, then turn into Turin Street on your left. At the end of Turin Street you will see Delta Street immediately
ahead and to your right. Delta Point is on the corner.
N243 (from Trafalger Square, Holborn, Old Street)
Get off at the Hackney Road stop (four stops past Old Street station).
Walk down Hackney Road to Columbia Road on your right. Walk down here for about four minutes, until you get to a
small roundabout. Here veer to the right, into Wellington Row. Delta Street is a minute away on your right, and
Delta Point is on the left-hand side.
Walk from Liverpool Street station:
So many buses and tube lines go to Liverpool Street station, that there
is probably a direct one from whereever you are coming from. If you are feeling like it, it's about a 20 minute walk,
which might even be quicker than waiting for a connecting tube or bus (it's about a 15 minute walk from Bethnal
Green station anyway).
Turn left out of Liverpool Street station's Bishopgate exit (the one under
the big glass archway). About 10 minutes up the road is a large intersection> Go through this then turn right
into Bethnal Green Road. Follow Bethnal Green Road until you get to Turin Street on your left. At the end of Turin
Street you will see Delta Street immediately ahead and to your right. Delta Point is on the corner.
