That
night we had a home-made roast dinner in the B&B and then headed out to see what nightlife Caernarfon offered. Not a lot. We enjoyed the sunset across the strait outside
a pub then checked out a couple more pubs before deciding that the main attraction, laughing at the clothes (or lack thereof)
worn by the local girls, had worn thin.

After
another full cooked breakfast on Sunday morning we piled into the van for a tiki tour of the Snowdonia region of North Wales. First stop was Llandudno which is a "resort" town popular with, from what we could see, families and the
elderly. We explored the typical pier with its funfair attractions and sat on
the beach for a while. The coast was a rather impressive one mile of beach in
a crescent shape, lined with Victorian-style hotels. And there was even sand
on the beach rather than the pebbles found in Brighton for example.
